CENTRE FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP HOSTS PRACTICAL BUSINESS FINANCE MASTERCLASS

On July 5, 2023, the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship hosted a Practical Business Finance Masterclass for small business owners. The workshop was facilitated by finance guru Mr. Marc Johnson and covered two important elements: The Language of Finance and Costing & Pricing.

Entrepreneurs learned about the basics of financial management, including how to read financial statements, create budgets, and manage cash flow. They also learned about the importance of costing and pricing their products and services. Mr. Johnson provided clear and concise explanations of complex financial concepts, and he made the material easy to understand. Participants appreciated his expertise and his ability to relate to their real-world challenges.

The workshop was a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn about the financial aspects of running a business. At the end of the day, participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions and grow their businesses sustainably.

One entrepreneur, Mrs Nompumelelo Mdletshe , said:
